The Philadelphia Flyers have extended forward Travis Konecny to a six-year, $33 million contract which gives him an AAV of $5.5 million over the six seasons.
The Flyers gave defenseman Ivan Provorov a new extension last week which caused fans to wonder how long it would take the organization to give their beloved TK a new contract.
The Flyers themselves started the speculation by tweeting on Monday afternoon:

There has been talk through the fans of the Flyers that they expected $7 million a year at least, but it seems as though the Flyers got the deal done at a good cost. Travis Konecny has a home in Philadelphia fan’s hearts. Congratulations to TK!
