Philadelphia: During any season you attempt to establish a home-court advantage and that is what the Philadelphia 76ers have done as they are 12-0 at home as they looked to make it 13-0 as they took on the Denver Nuggets from the Wells Fargo Center in South Philadelphia on Tuesday night.
This game would mark the return of Sixers Josh Richardson who was out for seven games with hamstring injury.
In the first half, both teams would come out and be physical as the Nuggets took a 27-26 lead at the end of the first quarter,
A very cool moment happened before the second quarter began as there was a Sixers fan that came from Australia and then he proposed to his girlfriend and got a loud ovation.
Early in the second quarter, we saw one of the dunks of the year candidate as Matisse Thybulle would throw down a nasty dunk and blew the roof off the building
The Sixers would take a 55-50 lead at halftime. This would set up for an interesting second half and the Sixers home record would be on the line and can they look better in finishing games as they did in their win over Toronto on Sunday night.
As the third quarter came to a close and Joel Embiid would throw up a circus shot that would drop and he would get fouled
The Nuggets would make things interesting down the stretch but the Sixers would fight their way to hold off Denver for a 97-92 win & the Sixers are now 13-0 at home
The Sixers will look to make it 14-0 at home when they take on the New Orleans Pelicans on December 13.
